Nathan Moore founded Walden Ridge in 2009 to bring trade-level execution discipline to branded hotel renovations.

Hotel capital programs demanded the same discipline Nathan had built over years of residential renovation and new-construction work: predictable schedules, in-house millwork, and direct field oversight.

The firm was structured to remove the handoffs and schedule risk of the traditional general-contractor model: integrating procurement, millwork, FF&E, and field supervision under single ownership, so brand-mandated PIPs are delivered within fixed inspection windows while properties stay occupied.

Walden Ridge remains founder-led, holding to the operational discipline and hands-on execution that have defined the work from the start.

Nathan Moore

Founder & CEO

Nathan grew up on construction sites in Montana and studied structural engineering at the University of Colorado Boulder. He is a journeyman-level tradesman across more than a dozen disciplines: carpentry, electrical, plumbing, drywall, window installation, EIFS and waterproofing, roofing, and millwork. That hands-on fluency lets Walden Ridge self-perform, control schedule, and pass brand inspections on the first attempt.

Since 2009 he has led 60+ branded hotel renovations and six ground-up developments across seven flag families, with nearly 40 years in and around construction.

Marcus Brown

Director of Strategy & Development

Marcus Brown went to Cooper Union and spent several years in New York, working at Bode and Air Mail, before finding his way into hospitality. His background in design, retail, and media shapes how Walden Ridge thinks about positioning and presentation. He leads strategy and development.
